Melissa Jackson
Treasurer
Melissa Jackson is a native of Osceola, Arkansas, but currently resides in Jonesboro. Melissa is a three time graduate of Arkansas State University and is currently working to complete her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
Melissa joined the employee ranks at Arkansas State University as an Academic Advisor in the Wilson Advising Center in 2006 and has since become the Center’s Director. Outside the University, Melissa’s professional role extends with her leadership as President of the Arkansas Academic Advising Network.
Melissa is passionate about community service and uplift. She is a member of the St. Paul MBC where she works alongside her husband to answer the call of effective ministry. She is also a proud member of the Jonesboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys singing, spending time with her family and writing poetry.
