The Black Professionals’ Network of Jonesboro’s mission is to create networking opportunities and a community presence in the Jonesboro area. We are a diverse group striving to make the Jonesboro area an ideal place to: Live, Learn, Lead and Link.
Annually, there are various back to school supply events sponsored by churches, organizations, businesses, and networks. Your dedication to these events has equipped the students of our community with much needed supplies. Your contributions have helped to prepare them for the upcoming school years, and for that we thank you! The community, the students and our BPN members and friends look forward to these events each year. The success of these activities shows your commitment to the community we live in.
BPN, has been asked to initiate a united “Community Back to School Supply Event.” A collaboration amongst churches, organizations, businesses, and networks has the potential to stimulate growth. In addition, we share a mutual goal of ensuring students are prepared for the academic year as we continue to serve the Jonesboro community. An event of this magnitude, will take talents from an array of individuals who are willing to donate their time, service, funds, etc. to benefit our children.
We are asking for your organization’s support to make this project a success. A tentative date of Saturday, August 4, 2018, has been set for this community driven event. Your participation would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. In order to start planning, it is essential to see who is willing to join this collaboration. A representative from each respective unit will have the opportunity to make-up the event committee.
